A full day in Kamakura and Enoshima. We meet you at Kamakura Station and visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, Kamakura's main shrine. Then we have lunch at a local restaurant and try snacks on Komachi-dori street. In Hase you can go inside the Great Buddha and buy souvenirs. In the evening we go to Enoshima island: its shrines and their stories, dinner, and the view from the Sea Candle tower around sunset.

Best for: people who like shrines, the sea and a slower day outside Tokyo, with lots of photo spots.

Meals aren't included, but we reserve the restaurants. Please tell us about any allergies or food restrictions when you book (local specialties like shirasu are fish).

Getting there: tell us the station closest to your hotel and we'll send you directions to Kamakura Station (the trip there and back is not included). The tour runs in any weather, and Enoshima has a lot of stairs, so bring comfortable shoes.

Asakusa at night feels very different from the daytime. We start with a drink at a place with a view, then walk through the old backstreets and good photo spots. Next is a show at a fashion-nude theater in the Rokku Broadway area: an adult stage show and part of Asakusa's culture since just after the war. We finish with a last drink and snacks at a bar we know well.
